I rode with the group today. Awesome ride! Sun was shining, maybe a little hotter than I would like, but amazing nonetheless.

One friend at work, and another from across the street, are getting bikes. I may to try to enlist them somehow. I will probably have to take them out on a few shorter 2-5 miles rides at first.

I read the bike thing in the Olympia paper this weekend. I thought I’d come out on Tuesday for the Social Ride and check it out.

This was my first year to ride in the Two County Double Metric and my first year for riding. I am preparing to ride the STP in one day and I was encouraged by other riders to ride the distance in this ride to see if I was ready. It was a great test for me and I really enjoyed the ride! It was beautiful!! There was plenty to eat and always a smile on the faces of the volunteers to encourage you on your ride.

Two Thumbs up! To the Capital Bicycling Club and all who so graciously offered their services to make this a wonderful day for all of us who rode!
