Advertising Guidelines
Who Can Advertise?
- Any member in good standing
- Any cycling related business
The CBC editor reserves the right to limit or deny ad space to any advertiser based on available space, content, design and applicability to the club’s mission or membership.
Our Advertising Priorities
1st priority for ads: member owned bike related local businesses
2nd priority for ads: non-locally owned/operated, non-member bike tours, businesses
3rd priority for ads: local member businesses, non-bike related
Non-cycling related advertisement will be limited in size to a ½ page ad or smaller.
Rates:
10% discount banner listing: $10 annually (free if in conjunction with a ½ page or larger ad purchase)
(Advertisers must commit to an on-going discount period and notify the editor if they decide to discontinue the discount.)
Business Card Size: $20 per month (3.5 inches by 2 inches)
¼ Page Ad: $35 per month (3&5/8 inches by 4&3/4 inches)
½ Page Ad: $50 per month (7.5 inches by 4.5 inches)
Full Page Ad: $75 per month (7.5 inches by 9.5 inches)
Advertisers paying in advance for a six-month listing will get the 6th month for free.
Payment must be received by the 2nd Wed. of any month in which the advertiser wishes to run his/her ad

Submission:
Ads must be submitted as a camera-ready jpeg file. Please use a high-resolution file setting, 300 dpi or higher, or your ad will look blurry and indistinct. Advertisers are responsible for insuring a high print quality of ads that they submit.

Submissions must be received no later than the 2nd Wed. of the month in which the advertiser wishes to run the ad.
General
Advertising will be limited to 20% of any newsletter issue (2 full pages of advertising per 10 page issue). Should advertising requests exceed the available space, non-cycling related advertisers may be limited to a 3-6 month per year run limit. Such as can be run in consecutive or non-consecutive months, as determined by space available or marketing concerns.
